Founders Dave and Anginette Cheney are both graduate photographers from Citrus College and members of Tri-Cities Photographers Association. Anginette is an accomplished "Extreme Fighter" and Dave is also a Kung-Fu artist. Both have worked in Television, Music and Modeling. Dave and "Ginger" also hosted the family site: Supermodelteens.com prior to this "Starz" website: Developing great talent is also their "Passion"
Muriel was discovered in Costa Rica and trained initially by Dave. She was sponsored and attended several actor's schools in Calif, John Robert Powers, Beverly Hills Studios, Action in Acting in Beverly Hills. She has been in numerous Music Videos, Commercials and Movies. Her passion moved toward singing where she hopefully makes her career complete today. At the peak of her modeling career Muriel succeeded in some amazing triumphs and won multiple awards in female body-sculpting competitions, also directed and trained by Dave Robertson. Today she resides in Nevada andt is working in Las Vegas.
Evelyn is the cousin of Muriel and was brought to Dave Roberts and Anginette through Muriel's relatives. Evelyn was
working in a Television studio prior to beginning her modeling career. She also attended modeling and finishing schools in Costa Rica and like Muriel, was found to be a "Natural" in front of the camera, with similar eye-catching qualities which did not go un-noticed. Evelyn has also chosen to move to Las Vegas and is now married. She may continue her modeling career, while at this time it is not certain. One thing that is certain though is that Evelyn brings us a great quality that has graced many who have worked with her.
Angelina "Liz" came to us on her own from San Diego. At age 18 Angelina wanted to try Modeling, starting with Dave Roberts as trainer / photographer. Her innocent charm along wtih stunning looks quickly made her a favorite with other photographers and promoters. After taking 1st Place in her first competition at the 'Star of India' in San Diego, Dave took a shot of Angelina (her middle name) and submitted it to Fame International Magazine, winning "Editor's Choice" and with a full-page article on this fantastic model. She remained a favorite with So. Calif Modeling Competitions winning cash prizes, trophies, contracts, and judge's hearts. Her career moved toward being a singer as well as finishing her studies in Nursing, and even now manages a financial organization in her home town of San Diego.
Meghann has proved to be another interesting discovery, found in a "grocery store" quite by chance, when she later that same day contacted RobCheney back and agreed that she should try modeling. Meghann had little prior experience, she worked initially with Dave Roberts adn then quickly took to photographer's cameras at beach shoots, and stole the photographer's hearts in her very first competition. In less than 6 weeks from discovery, Meghann wound up on the front cover of "Modeling Today" magazine as shown here. Meghann loves horses, and can sing too! She was offered a music contract in her 7th week and has also continued her education in Law Enforcement. "A Shania Twain" beauty is how Dave describes her. Way to go Meghann!
Diana was originally discovered by RobCheney while passing through a neighborhood near the California Motor Speedway. Her mom was with her and spoke no English, so Dave humbly mustered up enough Spanish to explain that he'd like to include Diana in a group of models and commercial actors RobCheney had begun to train. Diana came to the U.S. at age 9 and she caught on to the entertainment industry very quickly, stealing hearts and winning trophies, cash and prizes in modeling competitions, continuing her vocal pursuits "singing", and landing a contract through a RobCheney affiliate for her own Saturday "Kids Show" with Online Music Network by age 14. Quite a jump for a 14 year old!
