One startling reality does not take much research to learn that many gifted teenage girls today are in trouble. Girls, especially in households with a combined-yearly income of less than $80,000 for two parents are facing consequences of actions that are ruining many young people before they ever get started in life. Time and time again it is shown that adolescents from the age of 16 to 19 will either turn One of Two directions: 1) Education and Career, or 2) Dating and sexual-experimentation often leading to teenage marriges with children, at best. A third alternative, such as "Abstinence" might be nice, and at least a decent try at education, but this category is extremely small. "Career and Education" are NOT stressed or encouraged to the point that they should be, girls often have no good VISION toward making a Career for their lives BEFORE deciding to go out and permit themselves to be used by "the guys" who then run away when it is time for consequences. Where are the dads in the home today to watch over daughters?
RobCheney's Goal and Hope is that the talent we find will #1] Be given the Sense and the Encouragement to WAIT to play-house and family, until well into the twenties, and then #2] Make a solid career for their lives before they reach the age of 23, and then after this age to begin to think about working on starting a family-life. Young people who WAIT, are young people who live with fewer, Less - regrets- NOT More... Choosing to become sexually-active as a teenager never builds-up one's life, but it puts a cloud of GUILT and cynicism over that life.. (Wow! is that all there is to life?? I've been used!...). As the Chinese say: Two things when they are lost can never again be returned: Time, and Innocence. It is Time and Innocence that Makes a Model the most successful. People don't want to see another model who is used-up and then spit-out! Physiologically, Virginity and Abstinence both help to keep the body developing at its Peak, and to be the most Alluring and Beautiful. Both of these help a good model to enhance her (or his) career... Parents, and responsible adults have to encourage young people to CHOOSE to work on their Education and Career FIRST, and then to spend the time in finding a MATE once this level has been achieved- NOT BEFORE.
