Entertaining, Modeling, Anything to do with the Arts is NOT only about money. The problem with many models and actors is when they begin to see their career only for the money that they can earn with it instead of the contribution they can make with their talents. Many lesser but important jobs will be passed-by because they do not have the budget, and early on in a career especially, those low- budget work offers are what build up a Name, and a portfolio for the Actor and Model, or Singer, or whatever is the career...
Working just to get money, and not trying to build a good working relationship with people you are working for and with is a means to an end with a career, in time, nobody will care to work with that type of a person.
Greed comes out in the work, as well as the "look" and personality in a model and an actor, "Smiles" are not genuine, and everything they do is "Minimal" and "Rushed".
My best advise in this area is to forget the money, it is nice to earn the money- but if you are good, you will get the money anyway, and it's much better in the beginning to be paid because someone likes to work with you and likes you work, than to work just to be paid.
